Dominika Cabaj specialises in issues related to VAT and excise duty. She has extensive experience in advising companies in the fuel, consumer electronics, real estate, pharmaceutical, chemical and other sectors.
Dominika represents taxpayers in a number of tax proceedings related to the tax authorities' questioning of VAT deductions in connection with taxpayers' alleged participation in tax fraud.
Dominika Cabaj has participated as a speaker at numerous conferences on VAT and excise duty. She was recognised as a leading Polish tax advisor in the field of VAT and excise duty by International Tax Review, published in Indirect Tax Leaders – The comprehensive guide to the world’s leading indirect tax advisers for 2013-2015.
Since May 2015, Dominika has been a partner in the tax advisory company Cabaj Kotala Doradztwo Podatkowe Sp. z o.o. Previously, she worked at Deloitte, where she was promoted to senior manager, and in the tax department of the law firm DLA Piper, as director.
